Art in the Garden

What does your garden say about you? One easy way to give your garden a bit of personality is to dress it up with garden art and structures. Garden décor should reflect the style and personality of the garden, the gardener, and the surrounding architecture (i.e. your home). If you live in a Tudor and tend a traditional English garden then accessorize with classic garden structures like arbors and outdoor furniture with a more formal feel. Larger embellishments such as garden structures like gates and obelisks tend to stand out in big gardens.
Garden art and accessories are meant to accent or draw attention to a specific area. They lead the eye from point to point and provide a visual bridge through every season, so put the same amount of effort into planning your garden décor as you do into planning your garden.
If you're an avid birder, accent your garden with bird feeders, bird houses, and bird baths to keep your feathered friends happy. No matter what your "garden style", keep in mind that gardening isn't just a way to turn plain into pretty. Different color combinations can set the mood in your flower garden. By using color in the garden, you can create the effect of a hot or cool environment. You can also set the mood for excitement or relaxation by combining garden flowers in vibrant or soothing colors.
To produce a romantic effect by use of garden color, plant an area of blues and pinks. If you're looking for serenity around you then an all-white garden is the way to go. Off-white garden flowers are better to use ... cream, eggshell, or bone-colored ... or very pale (almost white) blues, pinks, or yellows may be preferred also.
Many of the ornamental grasses can help provide you with some stunning effects when used to accent flower color in your garden.
Use those beautiful garden flowers to create the perfect mood in your own garden areas.
Your life is your garden and therefore you must nurture it to get the best harvest possible so you can enjoy the fruit of life.
So, exactly how do you nurture the garden of your life?
2) Decision
Like any garden, you must decide what type of garden you desire to have. Is it a fruit garden, vegetable garden, a flower garden or a combination of all three? 3) Preparation and Planting the right seeds
You recognize your reason for desiring a garden. You've made a decision what type of garden you will grow. Now it's time to make a plan of the size and shape of your garden. If you desire cucumbers, you must plant cucumber seeds. If you desire watermelon, you must plant watermelon seeds and if you desire marigold, then... you got it, you must plant marigold seeds.
Therefore, if you decide to change your financial situation, your spiritual life or your family life, you must begin to plant seeds accordingly to grow your harvest. What seeds can you plant to enhance your spiritual life? What about your family life? 4) Nurturing the garden of your life
Every garden requires daily weeding, regular watering and tilling of the soil when necessary. Everyday keep a watchful eye over the garden of your life. 5) Harvest time
When you take care of all the previous 4 steps, the 5th step - harvest time, will occur naturally. You don't need to force the garden to bear fruit. When you regularly nurture your life garden, the harvest time will come as a natural occurrence.
