The Hilton Garden Inn of Uptown Charlotte is located within the major financial and entertainment districts of the city. Upon entering the building, a guest will immediately see the Porte Cochere, the front desk, the lobby, and the on site restaurant. The uptown distract the hotel is located in is home to numerous museums, restaurants, and shopping malls.

This close proximity to the entertainment district, combined with the business amenities the hotel offers, makes this hotel the ideal location for a wide variety of travelers. Because this hotel is highly popular with guests, it is recommended that a potential guest make reservations for themselves well in advance of the date they are expecting to arrive in Charlotte.

Services directed towards business customers include the business center, wireless Internet access, meeting rooms for small groups, and other varied business amenities. The concierge services offered by the hotel are limited, but they include services like next day dry cleaning and laundry services. Other amenities include wireless Internet access, multi line phones, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, and complimentary toiletries. The business amenities of the hotel are equipped with high speed Internet access and full catering available for breaks and meals. Guests constantly rave about the location of the hotel and the access it allows an individual to have to the numerous attractions of Uptown Charlotte. The on site restaurant has also received praise from guests. The primary complaints of guests of the hotel are concerned with parking. The parking garage of the hotel has many sharp turns and multiple levels. Additional complaints were aimed towards the poor arrangement of the fitness center and the small size of the indoor pool.

Children's fascination with gardens has been canonised throughout the spectrum of English literature. Books like Tom's Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce and Francis Hodgson Burnet's The Secret Garden have captured childhood imaginations across generations and cultures. I recently spent one night at the Omaha West Hilton Garden Inn. The desk staff were extremely wonderful! The room was on the first floor, right next to the indoor pool and spa area. There was also a guest laundry room available.

My room was a pretty good size and had two queen size beds, a desk and a decent bathroom. My room also had a microwave and a coffee maker with the appropriate makings for tea, coffee or hot chocolate as well.

A nice feature. BRRR.

All in all, the Hilton Garden Inn West, was a delightful experience.
